These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of the MapTogether: Live Location app (the “App”) and this website. By using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. Using MapTogether

MapTogether lets you create and join private rooms where members can share their live location and see each other on a map. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country, or use the App with a parent or guardian’s permission.

2. Consent and respectful use

• Only invite people who want to be in your room. Never use MapTogether to track someone without their knowledge or consent.
• Do not use the App for stalking, harassment or any unlawful purpose.
• If you use MapTogether for work, you are responsible for following applicable employment and privacy laws and informing staff.

3. Location accuracy

Location data depends on your device, GPS, network and environment, and may be delayed or inaccurate. MapTogether is not an emergency service and must not be relied on for safety-critical or life-threatening situations. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

4. Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure. You may stop using the App and request deletion of your account at any time.

5. Our service

We may change, suspend or discontinue features of the App. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the App.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are significant we will let you know in the App or on this website.
